The op shops are where I normally buy my clothes. Usually I see heaps of stuff and wish I went somewhere I could wear it lol, but now that I need it nooooo, they don't have any. Bit like KMart, Big W and Target. Since the temps have dropped to the winter chills of 32C we have nothing but wool and fur. I mean really, what on earth do the buyers think we wear up here, I want to slap them with it.

You should be able to find a classic pair of evening pants (or even black pants) and a dressy jacket or top for next to nothing! And shoes? Do you have a Kmart or Big W? I get a LOT of shoes at Kmart (as I have champagne tastes on a 1 pot budget - I look at Vogue, drool, and go and get the closest I can get at Kmart!)

You can get some great dresses, slacks, and sometimes "dressy" tops or even a suit for next to nothing.

This Saturday night is Autism NT's annual charity ball and auction and I have a major dilema.

I have spent the last month busting my ass organising this event and will spend the next 6 days feeding my ulcer making sure it goes off in a manner that doesn't make people think about rotton eggs.
