Perhaps it would be beneficial for those seeking alternate locations to get involved and prove their worth to be a liason to the founders of DuranCon? Yes it would be nice to see it shared about the country to give equal opportunity to all for a cheaper trip, not to mention the opportunity for all to see a bit of our country, but given the locations of the 2 organising, that is obviously not going to happen without others getting on board and doing the hard yards. Take my situation up here. I am the only LS member in an entire region and being alone with my kids I have to take them with me so triple any costs. I'll miss the next DC my mere weeks. I don't expect anyone to come up here but if the interest was there I'd pull out all the stops to make sure M&M had all the help they needed in order to get you all up here. I'd even line my home with mattresses to accommodate everyone Until then it is what is is to all possible capabilities. That said, if there's anything I can help with let me know regardless of the fact I can't attend.
