Luckily I can connect to the net using my university's proxy server, and the BBC page shows up just fine through that - but I'm only supposed to use that for studies reasons (to check the online library and stuff like that).
I contacted my ISP's crappy customer care service by phone, of course they were clueless and told me to send an email through their site because this matter concerns their 'secundary technical help' (which basically means "I'm too stupid to understand what's wrong so yo write an email and maybe someone at some point will bother writing back"), so while I wait to see if I will ever get a reply from them, does anyone know of some proxy servers that will let me access the BBC News site and will also allow me to access the media offered there?
(also I am so mad because I think a serious professional company should send an automated reply to any emails received, saying "we have received your request and will reply as soon as possible" just to acknowledge your existence, but basically no Italian company does that, why bother, eh? *growl*)
Edited:
I found a few proxies that will let me read but they all block the radio player. Is this a characteristic of all proxies??

I'm sticking to it!
