Sadly though I came to a sad sad realisation I am not as young as I thought I was...

:giggle Yep, I can ditto that for me too! My hubby and I went on Tuesday as I finally had a 'day off', well a couple of hours away from the kiddiewinks. We didn't take the 3yr because he just would of institutionalized us! :shot

The only rides we went on were the two Ferris Wheels (that was $30 all up!). The first one we went on was the original in sideshow alley which I remember only went around about 5 or so times and that was the end of the ride. On Tuesday we got on and went around and around and around and around for a good 10+ minutes and I started to get giddy and iffy in the tummy! Of the Ferris Wheel of all things! 20years ago I practically lived on the Sizzler, Turbo and Pirate Ship, but now I am giddy after the Ferris Wheel?!?!? We almost had a 'celebrity' in our carriage. CH9's newsreader Heather Foorde was lining up near us and she got on the next carriage to us.

Straight after that stomach churning ride, hubby drags us over to the QR Silver Spike competition (he works for QR and its a must to attend! Meanwhile I catch a 20min nanna-nap!). After that we ventured to the Woolies pavillion and taste tested around there and bought a freshly made yet exy cupcake.

I didn't go ballistic over the showbags for 3yr son. I was going to get a Dora or Wiggles bag but they were $18 each for a couple of items of plastic crap. Instead we paid $15 for two train sets for him and $6 for a mixture of Bertie Beetle bags for moi :candy

We were done by 4pm and on the train back to kiddyville ... and my feet still hate me....:b

Cheers!
