Well, I've finished Feel. I can highly recommend it to anyone, and I haven't even followed Robbie's career closely, but found it very entertaining and....intriuging.
The book is laugh out loud funny in places
...mostly due to the things that come out of Rob's mouth. He has a wicked sense of humour, and it definitley comes through in the book.
It is is not your standard 'autobiography' ie it doesn't go Rob was born at....on...., etc etc. The author Chris Heath spent around twelve months living with Rob, from morning till night, and so the book is essentially like a fly-on-the-wall account of twelve months of Rob's life. Hence its very honest, warts and all, no bullshit.
Its also a fantastic inside look at the life of the rich and famous, and pretty much destroys the myth that money and fame = happiness. It also makes you realise that famous people have the same hopes and dreams as everyone else.
It will also make you question ANYTHING that is ever printed in the magazines/newspapers, or reported as truth, ever again.
Very insightful
I'm giving it
out of 5 rockstars
