......really enjoying reading "feel" (am about 1/3 way thru). Sad in places.....you know the press isn't always to be believed in so many incidences, but you don't realise to what extent till you read an account such as this. There's references to a few incidences that were blown so totally out of preportion, it's ludicrous. Overall, one of the most poingant things I've read so far:

At midnight, David comes back into the room. Rob has now been sober for 2 years. He gives Rob a copy of Dr Suess's The Places You Will Go, and Rob sits at the dining table and reads it aloud from beginning to end. A book in which things get better, then worse, the better again, but not completely so. Parts of it that might work as a metaphor for most readers speak more plainly to him.
'.....you'll be famous as famous can be, with the whole world watching you win on TV,' he reads. 'Except when they don't, because sometimes they won't...I'm afraid that sometimes you'll play lonely games too, games you can't win because you'll play against you...'
'Fucking ... yeah,' he says when he has finished
His eyes are moist. He says he needs to go to the bathroom to find some tracksuit bottoms.
