My most favorite time of year is here again! I love the Ekka... those who know can attest to my insane love of all things show.
Yesterday THOR attended Show Day Wednesday making it 3 visits in total so far... Baby Rat and I are going back tonight to watch the fireworks.
Sadly though I came to a sad sad realisation
I am not as young as I thought I was...
I took a 9 y/o on this ride that I had been wanting to try for a while called The Space Roller...

See it looked harmless enough, very pretty with lots of lights and the usual doof doof music, no one seemed to be crying or vomiting... so I got my ticket and boarded what I thought was going to be a fun 5 min ride.
After 5 min they stopped the ride, let off someone who was having a panic attack. The ride was good... lots of turning, upside down time and general being thrown about... and I was having fun. Then they started it up again... faster... much faster than before... I felt the 2 lattes in my belly start to churn and I had to close my eyes and pray that this would stop... soon.
Two hours later I was still churning...
I can no longer tolerate a ride that I would have gone on over and over again
I am old
And it ruined my afternoon...
;-)
