This Saturday night is Autism NT's annual charity ball and auction and I have a major dilema.
I have spent the last month busting my ass organising this event and will spend the next 6 days feeding my ulcer making sure it goes off in a manner that doesn't make people think about rotton eggs. (trying real hard to ignore the fact that I cannot get people to attend a tuppaware party let alone a 200 person formal event)
I have NOTHING to wear. I mean it. NOTHING! I have to parade amongst the guests smiling and thanking them before being called onto a stage by our president and thanked for all my hard work and my Sunday best is a pair of FM boots, the skirt I wear for work and a tshirt with sparkly bits!!!!!!!
Can someone tell me why I didn't tell everyone we were going to have a barn dance instead of a ball this year so I could just wear my jeans.
WHAT THE FRIGGIN HECK AM I GOING TO WEAR!
All sensible advice will be graciously accepted but my budget is something like $50 lol

The brightest star on the Walk of Fame.........
) and in a jersey fabric so as to hang and offer a bit of
a sway when you walk. if you can wear heels then go high high high, in a colour of your choice (never white tho). if heels arent your thing, then a very pointy
court shoe will give you a nice little lift.
