.....all excellent photos, but I couldn't go past # 7. Love the smoke effect behind Simon's stance. This pic just jumped out at me. I really liked # 9
too. Great panaramic (full band) view of the stage and the lighting.

Done - that was tough all right! But I went for lucky 13 - its a great clear shot of all four doing the Electro Set (which I really wished I could have seen
for real)

jeez, it was so hard to pick just one! It was almost john in blue (
 then almost the electro set (4), but I had to settle on number on the 2nd coming of
christ (7).........it there's one think I'll remember from the tour (other than actually breathing the same air as the bass god, and the electro set
and oh well you know........) it's simon front row centre. i was absolutley gob smacked. he's magnetic and that photo just a makes me smile.

This has to be the biggest cop-out ever on the part of the judges Sue and Ves. Now all the anguish, the pain, the loss of hair has been foisted onto us, the
unwashed masses of LS. I spent ages agonising over my vote - starting with trying to choose the most arty pic, then giving up. Then attempting to find the one
which was most unusual and rare. *Sigh*, too hard. Then I decided to go with the one that had the most emotional impact. Still too many to choose from. Finally
I decided to choose the one I liked the most at that point in time before I changed my mind a minute later.
It was difficult as I liked them all for so many different reasons - Kim's JoSi shot for its capture of the two sharing a quiet intimate moment, Blossom's JoSi for the hilariously dorkey faces. The one of Roger standing at the front of the stage is amazing, he looks so relaxed, as if there is a crowd of 2 or 3 and not thousands. Then the Blue John is something else, almost ethereal, it just looks so great. Or the clever lighting in KiwiFan's winner. NBTR's explosive Simon is a picture that would look great blown up and framed on my wall. Oh well. I made my decision. But it was tough due to so many excellent photos being submitted to the competition. hj |
